Here's a pretty good list of resources for writers - primarily targeted at web writers, but online writing doesn't have a monopoly on some of these bits of advice. Many of them are blogs themselves, where lively discussions go on about writing - whether you have to be able to write well to write on the web, what this thing called "writing well" actually is anyway, and so on.

The question of whether you have to be able to write well to write on the web is an interesting one. Obviously anyone can start a blog and fill it with drivel, but I think in order to attract and keep readers, writing on the web still has to maintain some quality. Swapping you for u, are for r, and the for teh has a place, but it’s not in writing that is trying to attract readers.
